The Challenge
The original house was a 1990s colonial with good bones but no coherent architectural identity. The clients had lived in it for fifteen years and loved the site, but the house itself had never felt like theirs.
Our Approach
Rather than cosmetic updates, we undertook a comprehensive reimagining — restructuring the plan, replacing the exterior envelope, and elevating every interior finish. The goal was a house that felt as though it had been designed this way from the beginning.
The Outcome
The clients say they feel like they moved into a new home without leaving the neighborhood they love. Their children, who grew up in the original house, say they barely recognize it — and mean that as the highest praise.
